Collection and Disposal of Municipal Refuse for 2024 Contract. Vendors Must Meet All Municipal, State, and Federal Regulations Associated With Municipal Waste Removal at the Time of the Bid and Continuously During the Term of the Contract. Questions Concerning the Bid Package Should Be Directed to the Borough Administrator at (570) 455-7851. All Proposals Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to Ten Per Cent (10%) of the Year 1 Value of the Contract. The Bid Bond Shall Be Made Payable to the Borough of West Hazleton and Provided by a Bonding Company Licensed to Operate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Borough of West Hazleton Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality Associated With This Proposal. Bu Submitting a Proposal, the Potential Bidder Acknowledges That Decisions Concerning This Proposal Will Be Made in and by the Best Interests of the Borough of West Hazleton.
