This project consists of the furnishing and installing of a temporary wet well, a new pump station, complete with wet well, valve vault, flow meter, emergency pump connection and control panel, approximately 50 of DI force main, approximately 20 of PVC gravity sewer, decommissioning and demolition of an existing pump station, demolition of temporary wet well, sod restoration and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check, or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid, payable to the Jeffersonville Sewer Board. The above checks or bonds are to ensure the execution of the contract on which such bids are made. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance, and payment bond to extend for a period of one year after final acceptance, in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor and Certificates of all Insurance as described in the Contract Documents. The Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
