Lincoln County Schools is accepting bids for the construction of two tennis courts at East Lincolnton High School, 6471 Highway 73, Denver, NC 28037. This project is turn key, minimum requirements include: Job site grading for level court surface and proper water drainage Compacted subbase (at least 95% maximum density, base course of 4" crushed stone) Asphalt paving (asphalt to cure for 30 days before any coating is applied) 10-foot-high galvanized fence around the courts (corner post 3" o.d., interior post 2 1/2 " o.d., all fences should be constructed of hot dipped galvanized steel, fence design to hold windscreen) 2 entrance gates with latches Net posts and netting Center strap anchors Painted court surface (acrylic color coating to be selected by the school, coating will not be applied unless air temperatures are approximately 50 degrees Sidewalks connecting to existing courts The contractor will secure and pay for all necessary permits and licenses The courts will be designed and built to United States Tennis Court guidelines The contractor will locate any and all utilities before work begins The contractor is responsible for the coordination of and relocation of any utilities The contractor is responsible for the disposal of any worksite debris The contractor is responsible for repairs of damage to property Eric Eaker, Chief Operations Officer, will be the contact for any questions.
