Clean up includes all debris, paint or any material used by the contractor to "restore" the work location back to a clean environment. The Board of Education's Maintenance Supervisor must approve all chemicals used for painting preparation. Sherwin Williams paints and primers are to be used. The LTBOE WILL provide paint. The contractor shall inform the LTBOE 48 hours (Weekday hours) in advance of beginning work. The contractor will provide a four-hour notice if they are unable to perform any work that day. Unused paint will be the property of the LTBOE. The LTBOE requires that contractor's employees possess criminal history clearance conducted by the Office of Student Protection before they begin working. https://www.nj.gov/education/crimhist/ Specifications include walls, ceilings, trim and all previously painted surfaces as appropriate (i.e., molding, conduit, interior and exterior door jambs, etc.). DO NOT PAINT WOOD DOORS UNIT VENTILATORS OR SHELVING. Job performance is expected to conform to "Industry Typical" standards following the PDCA General Guidelines as appropriate. Where classrooms, gymnasiums, and offices are specified, work area shall extend into the hallway to the extent of the entire door frame. Where hallways are specified, work area shall extend into the hallway to the extent of the entire door frame.
