Reference Number 0000329697 The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms for a Construction Manager (at risk)/General Contractor (CM/GC). Firms must be licensed and certified as applicable in the State of Utah, to construct a new Vocational Building at Dixie High School per design from NWLA Architects. The CM/GC will work closely with the Washington County School District Facilities Director and NWLA Architects, through the design phase, providing cost estimates, schedules and feedback of design details, phasing, and availability of materials selected. CM/GC will also monitor the bid climate and recommend the optimal bidding schedule to the design team. The Washington County School District intends to construct a new Vocational Building at Dixie High School. The anticipated square footage will be approximately 31,ooo sf. It is anticipated that the project will begin construction approximately March of 2024 with anticipated occupancy in August 2026. Site plans, floor plans and exterior elevations will be available at the mandatory pre-bid conference. See Item J above. Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 09/28/2023 02:00 PM MDT Questions are submitted online Yes The Fixed Limit of Construction Costs (FLCC) for this project is currently $12,400,000. ($400 psf) Offering Contractors will be required to provide evidence of 100% payment and performance bonds for the Fixed Limit of Construction Cost (FLCC) with their proposal. Washington County School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality, informality, irregularity or technicality in any proposal. The District also reserves the right to call for new bids if their interests or convenience is better served by such course.
