Project canceled. Will be readvertised. The new Primary School will be constructed to meet or exceed GA DOE standards of a new Primary School with an FTE of 719 plus an added 160 P-K students. The Primary School will be a single-story building with the overall square footage will be roughly +/- 120,000 square feet and be constructed to meet ICC Type II sprinklered construction requirements. The Primary structure will be a combination of concrete slabs on grade, CMU walls, and metal framing, metal and or membrane roofing, with a brick and stucco exterior. The spaces to be provided will include, but not be limited to classroom spaces for grades P-K through Second grade. The PRIMARY facility will also have an administrative area, Cafeteria and Kitchen, Media Center, Music, Art, special Education areas, and Physical Education spaces as required by the GA DOE standards. All site work that is required to provide utilities, storm water detention, parking, parking lot lighting, sidewalks, parent drop-off/ pick up area, bus canopies, fencing and playground areas and equipment, as well as drives for the Primary School. The estimated construction budget for the new Primary School is $32,000,000 The estimated construction budget for the new FFA Multipurpose Facility is $3,000,000. The estimated construction budget for the new High School Tennis Fieldhouse is $400,000. It is the responsibility of each respondent to examine the entire RFP, seek clarification in writing, and review its submittal for accuracy before submitting the document. Questions will not be considered after November 13, 2023. Questions about any aspect of the RFP, or the project, shall be submitted in writing (e-mail only) to: adam.kirby@jeff-davis.k12.ga.us Construction will commence with the release of distinct work packages based on the design documents. The CP shall select all construction subcontracts by competitive selection using cost and other factors, with Owner approval of each subcontractor. The contract may have liquidated damages The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at their discretion.
