The work includes the repainting of the Bryon Street 500,000-Gallon water storage tank interior and exterior and miscellaneous repairs, the repainting of the Hwy. 49 500,000-Gallon water storage tank interior and exterior and miscellaneous repairs, and chain link fencing at both tank sites plus the North Main booster pump station site. At said place and time, and promptly thereafter. All Bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file with Handy Sanitary District and at the office of MBD Consulting Engineers, P.A., 760-A, Northwest Broad Street, Southern Pines, NC 28388. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina for the type of work required. Bids will be received on a lump price basis as described in the Contract Documents. The work is to commence within 15 days after the Date of Contract. Completion of the work is as required in the contract documents. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to select alternatives, to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids. Handy Sanitary District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
