This project is anticipated to start on approximately May 30, 2023 [date] and is anticipated to have a duration of 60 calendar days for completion. A Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work 8. PLACE PLANS ARE ON FILE: Contact Brett Jurgensen (bjurgensen@vvuhsd.org) The following is a description of work to be completed at Victor Valley High School, Silverado High School and Hook Junior High School as per aerial view attached showing number ofunits at each school to be replaced and location ofunits to be replaced.: 1. Contractor shall remove 89 Bard Style air conditioning units, remove ionizers from units to be installed in new units, and dispose ofthe old units in accordance with EPA guidelines at a legal dumping site. 2. Contractor shall supply and install 89-4 ton, 208/230v, single phase, vertical mount heat pumps. The units installed must be Bard units or units comparable in quality to the Bard units. Units must be capable of utilizing 2" MERV 13 filters. Installation includes but is not limited to installing the unit, installing ionizers removed from existing units, install new disconnects to the units, wiring the unit, connecting new units to the building management system if applicable, installing new thermostats and start up of the units to ensure the units are functioning properly. 3. The contractor shall provide a one-year full warranty and manufacturers product warranty on the units. 4. The contractor shall ensure all work is being completed safely, professionally and timely. Contractor will ensure all federal, state, county, and local laws, regulations, and codes are being followed. Contractor shall clean job site to pre-construction conditions. Contractor shall include a $50,000.00 allowance in the bid. Contractor shall include a copy ofthe signed scope ofwork with their bid.
