PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to install approximately 3,075 linear feet of 8" water main along Morgan Street, Polk Street, and 15th Street. The Morgan Street portion will include the installation of four hydrants, two stormwater inlets, and a total of 900 square yards of pavement patching. The Polk and 15th Street portion will include two additional hydrants, and 399 square yards of asphalt patching. The entire project will replace thirty-nine water service connections within 180 days. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. The contractor must complete one project, including mobilization and demobilization, prior to beginning work on the second project area. A separate final inspection will be held for each project. 2. The construction stakeout will be performed by the City of Lynchburg. The contractor must request the stakeout two (2) weeks in advance of construction, and the contractor will provide additional construction stakeout mobilizations as needed. ALL ADDENDA WILL ONLY BE POSTED ON THE CITY'S WEBSITE. Bidders Bid Bond for 5% of Base Bid Amount There is no DBE goal for this project
