**As of October 27, 2023, project was awarded to S & W Construction, awarded amount is $2,113,596.61.** The Project consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for completion of the Mooney Grove Park Pond Walkway Project. The project consists of complete replacement of current walkway and retaining wall, but not limited to reinstallation of any plumbing and electrical lines, relocation of irrigation lines, and other associated work to complete the project. Each bid shall be submitted individually on the Bid Forms that are provided in the Specifications along with accompanying documents and a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, sealed in an envelope marked with the bidders name and business address, Project title and the scheduled time and date of the bid opening. It is the Bidders responsibility to print the necessary pages required with the bid. Any Contractor to whom a contract is awarded and any subcontractor under the Contractor shall pay all workers employed on the work not less than the prevailing wage rates determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and shall comply with all laws and regulations relating to the employment of apprentices. Said wage rates pursuant to Section 1773.2 of the Labor Code are on file with the Tulare County General Services Agency, 2637 W. Burrel Avenue Suite 200, Visalia, California and will be made available to any interested person on request. TIME OF COMPLETION: The Project is to be completed within 120 calendar days from the date to be established in the NOTICE TO PROCEED. The Agreement includes provisions for Liquidated Damages if the Project is not timely completed. The successful Bidder shall possess a Class C-8 California Contractors License at the time the bid is submitted and maintain that license until the Project is completed. The Board of Supervisors further reserves all rights to use County Forces, or to negotiate contracts, or both, to the extent authorized by the Public Contract Code.
