**As of October 23, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** General Cleaning To be performed at each cleaning: o Empty all trash and shreds and dispose of accordingly o Glass on entrance doors/office doors (exterior side as needed & weather permitting). Glass on exterior walls (in and outside) to be cleaned upon request for additional fees o Bathrooms: wash in and outside of toilet & sink, clean mirrors, spot clean walls, refill supplies as needed, clean/mop floor o Breakroom: wipe down counters, sink, exterior of microwave and refrigerator, coffee maker, spot wash walls as needed, clean/mop floors o Vacuum/dry mop all open floor space and wet mop applicable areas, all as needed o Wipe down and disinfect front counters and conference room tables Time of Work o Office to be cleaned once per week. Additional cleaning in May and October. o All cleaning to be performed outside the rate of normal business/scheduled meeting hours. Friday cleanings may be performed any time prior to the start of the next business day. Holidays may alter the cleaning schedule and will be adjusted as mutually agreed upon You and your agents and employees, during the performance of this contract, shall act in an independent capacity and not as officers or employees or agents of the Town. Any manpower needed to fulfill the obligations of this contract shall be employed by you and you shall be solely responsible for complying with applicable state and federal laws, including but not limited to, worker's compensation law, employment security law and minimum wage law. As an independent contractor, you are also responsible for maintaining your equipment in a safe, operable and legal condition. The successful bidder will be subject to a background ground. Proof of Insurance/Bond is required.
