Installation of New Electrical Panel and Emergency Generator. All questions / clarifications shall be submitted in writing to cfonseca@hudsonlight.com no later than Monday, September 21, 2023. Answers to submitted questions shall be provided to all bidders as an addendum and shall be posted in Public on September 25, 2023. Hudson Light and power is installating a new emergency generator and related equipment Scope of Work: The Contractor will provide a minimum of the following service and materials but not limited: 1. Contractor is responsible for trenching from the existing transformer to the Hudson Light and Power office with new conduit to feed and spare conduit to feed the new electrical panel. Contractor shall provide a drawing depicting the required conduits and their uses and shall receive approval from Hudson Light and Power engineer prior to installation. 2. Contractor will be responsible for removal of the existing soil to allow the new conduit to be installed in the trench. Contractor is responsible for placing soil on clean plastic next to the trench. Contractor shall use the soil on the plastic to backfill the trench after the new conduit is installed. Contractor shall be responsible for the installation of clean fill if needed to finish off the conduit and trench rehabilitation. Contractor shall be responsible for seeding the construction area to bring back area to a condition before construction took place. Contractor shall dispose of all excess soil. 3. Contractor is responsible for supplying new conductors to the utility room. Contractor is responsible for making all connections in the utility room. (Emergency Generator, ATS, and related equipment to access the existing utility room for the installation of the new feed to the new electrical panel. 4. The Hudson Light and Power Department requires all work to be performed in a clean, safe, and professional manner. If the duration of work extends beyond one day, the work area will be rendered safe at the end of each day by the contractor, this could include the installation of safety tape and or highway plates to cover the excavations 5. Supply and install one (1) 600 AMP 277/480-volt three (3) phase four (4) wire underground service from the existing pad mount transformer to the Hudson Light and Power Office Building located at 49 Forest Ave Hudson Mass. (See Attachment 2) 6. Supply and install one (1) CT cabinet 7. Provide line-item price to supply and install one (1) CT rated meter socket 8. Contractor shall remove existing electrical panel and supply and install one (1) 600 AMP 600 Volt 3 phase four (4) wire fused 3R disconnect switch with 600 AMP time delay fuses in the old electrical panels place. 9. Supply and install ground service to applicable code 10. Install and wire one (1) Hudson Light and Power supplied 300KW standby generator and associated equipment 11. Install and wire one (1) Hudson Light and Power supplied 600 AMP Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)
