As of October 9,2023, project was awarded to Latona Trucking, Inc., awarded amount is $32,940.56. The Blytheburn Road (CR 23) Endwall Replacement Project will consist of the replacement of a damaged endwall and the replacement of R-6 rip rap along Blytheburn Road (CR 23). Questions must be submitted, via electronically by 5:00 PM on Thursday September 14, 2023. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Luzerne County, negotiable US Government Bonds (at par value), or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid of construction shall be submitted with each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract for the duration of this project: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
