Reference Number 0000329380 The demolition of a former school building which has been condemned and contains asbestos containing material. The Former Columbus School is approximately 56,327 square feet. The structure and bituminous concrete is to be demolished in accordance with the Contract Drawings. The demolition will be completed with asbestos in place and include the removal of foundation slabs, walls, and footings. All materials, excepting steel, will be disposed of as asbestos impacted. Steel will be segregated and recycled. Following demolition and removal activities, backfill, top soil, and seed shall be placed to grade in accordance with the Contract Drawings.
