A. Under this Section furnish and deliver three (3) internally fed rotary drum screens capable of performing as specified herein. The screens are intended to replace three (3) existing Parkson 48 x 72 screens. Equipment components shall conform to the specific requirements of this section. B. It is the intent that the Supplier furnish and deliver to the job site all equipment and accessories and all necessary services for a rotary drum screen replacement as specified herein. The scope of supply shall include, but is not limited to, the following major items 1. Three (3) rotary drum screens having nominal drum cylinder size of 4-foot diameter by 6-feet long, or as recommended by the Supplier for the application requirements provided in this specification. a. If required to fit the existing headworks structure opening, the screens shall be provided with a drain pan capable of directing screened effluent through the detailed openings and into the collection area below the screen platform. Screens may be supported by integral frame, or by support legs attached to frame. Discharge ends of screens shall be fully enclosed. 2. Three (3) stainless steel discharge chutes discharging to the existing spiral solids conveyor. 3. Control panel. 4. Installation check-out, start-up, and owner training services. 5. Redundant components and spare parts as recommended.
