The Commission approved the acceptance of $717,720 for the Gold King Mine Grant for Animas River Habitat Enhancement & Bank Stabilization (Resolution 2023-1369) at the August 8th 2023 Commission meeting. ____________________________________________________________ The City of Aztec is accepting proposals from interested and qualified professional engineers to provide services for riverbank stabilization. Services to be provided may include, but are not limited to, permitting, planning, design, specifications, contract documents, construction management, and cost estimates for this project. The City of Aztec (City) is seeking qualified firms to provide planning and engineering services for riverbank stabilization and habit enhancement projects. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for one (1) year, unless terminated earlier as provided herein. This agreement shall be renewed automatically, subject to the appropriation of funds by the City Commission and New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, if applicable, from year to year for three (3) additional consecutive one year periods, unless terminated as herein provided.
