The right is hereby reserved to reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities, as the interest of Calvert County Government may require. All questions shall be submitted on or before September 18, 2023 by 2:30 p.m. (Local Prevailing Time). SCOPE OF WORK A. The Contractor shall: 1) Comply with all provisions of the Lease Agreement and all amendments between the Maryland State Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration, Maryland State Department of Natural Resources, and Calvert County Government. See attached Agreement and made a part of this Contract. (See Attachment A.) 2) Operate and maintain the concession stand, which includes the boat ramp, comfort station, concession facilities, parking lot, and associated grounds (hereinafter, Concession Area) in accordance with the specifications. (See Attachment B and Attachment C for aerial views of the Concession Area.) 3) Operate the Concession Area year round, collect launching fees, and if desired, sell hot and cold beverages, snack items, and boat/fishing commodities. No items shall be served in glass containers. Sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products shall be strictly prohibited. a. Minimum Service Period for Launching Fees Staff and collect launch fees at the Boat Ramp during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. seven (7) days per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The schedule provided is based on minimum service and does not preclude the Contractor from providing services in addition to the schedule.
