Court Street, Room 507 Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 A surety in the form of a cashiers check drawn on a solvent financial institution, and made payable to the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the total amount of the bid including any alternates, or a bond in the amount of 100% (One Hundred Percent) of the total amount of the bid including any alternates must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. The surety must be submitted with the bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a corporate surety bond, made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Hamilton County, for one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract price as a guarantee for the faithful performance thereof. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and, unless otherwise specified by the bidder, to accept any item in the bid. In case of error in extending the total amount of the bid, the unit price will govern A. Material, equipment and tools and services for General; Plumbing; Fire Protection; Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning; and Electric Work for construction of: 1. Demolition of wall, doors, door frames, windows, raised floor system, etc. as indicated on drawings. No structural demolition is required. 2. New Work: Installation of new walls, doors, door frames, transaction window, casework, etc. as indicated on drawings. 3. Furniture is a separate contract by owner. Prime contractor is responsible for coordinating this scope of work with the owner. General contractor to provide allotted time in their schedule for this scope to be performed. B. Division of the Work among Subcontractors and trades: Without limiting the force or intent of any portion of the General Conditions, refer to Sections 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 thereof.
