The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision for the IAD Concourse C Substation A1B Replacement Washington Dulles international Airport in accordance with the attached contract provisions, specifications and drawings. A description of the work follows 1)New indoor pad mounted 13.2kV switchgear, indoor pad mounted cast coil transformer and indoor 480/277V switchgear to replace indoor 13.2kV metal enclosed switchgear, transformer and 480/277V switchgear at Substation A1B. 2)New dual 13.2kV feeders from existing manhole to new 13.2kV switchgear via underground duct bank at Substation A1B. 3)New single radial 13.2kV feeder from new 13.2kV switchgear to new transformer via underground duct bank at Substation A1B. 4)New indoor reinforced concrete pads for13.2 Switchgear, transformer and 13.2 switchgear at Substation A1B. 5)New roof, exterior walls and doors to enclose Substation A1B. 6) New Mechanical equipment for environmental control of Substation A1B. 7)Temporary power equipment and connections to support all active circuits at Substation A1B during switchover. 8)Demolition of existing indoor 13.2kV metal enclosed switchgear, 2 transformer, 480/277V service switchboard, 480V switchboard A2DP10 and associated equipment. 9)For additional requirements for the examination of plans, specifications, and Project site see Section "Supplementary Conditions." The Contractor shall replace aging 15kV switchgear, 13.2kV to 480/277V transformer, 480V switchgear, ancillary equipment and enclosure of the substation room at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) Concourse C Substation A1B.
