The project is expected to be awarded on November 6, 2023 The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described within the Contract Documents and Specifications. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Liquidated Damages: $500 per Calendar Day. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 27.9% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% An acceptable bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Ruston, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Bidders are advised that Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required. The City of Ruston reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause and reserves the right to waive any and all informalities.
