All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by E & A Consulting Group, Inc., and must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in the amount of not less than $2,250.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 295 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor, and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the removal of the existing pavement, sidewalks, curb ramps and replacement of Portland Cement Concrete pavement of varying widths with a minimum thickness of seven inches for large areas and nine inches for small areas, together with integral curb and gutter, sidewalks, curb ramps, subgrade preparation, construct detectable warning panel, adjust manhole to grade, and necessary appurtenances for a completed improvement. The improvements to be bid upon as outlined within these specifications and as detailed on the plans (HIGHLANDS RIDGE 2023 Street Reconstruction plans dated 08/15/2023 consisting of pages 1-02 inclusive) are being installed for Sarpy County Sanitary and Improvement District 295 located in the vicinity of South 213th Street & Schram Road within HIGHLANDS RIDGE.
