Telephone or email the contact person noted below in order to notify of a visit. The Town of Carolina Shores ("Owner"), reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. A 5% bid bond or deposit is required. Various patches, leveling, installation of geosynthetic Hatelit mat, and a standard 2.0" overlay of Pinewood Drive & Myrtlewood Drive. Pinewood Drive contains 7,930 SY of Hatelit geosynthetic mat, and 16,233 SY of 2.0" SF 9.5B Asphalt overlay. Myrtlewood Drive contains 3,723 SY of Hatelit Geosynthetic mat, 90 SY of full depth patching, and 3,723 SY of 2.0" SF 9.5B Asphalt overlay. All asphalt overlays shall tie uniformly into existing driveway except where driveways have been installed high or low, as agreed by contractor and ECE inspector. All work shall adhere to the attached documents (standard specifications, general conditions, & plans). There are liquidated damages associated with this project. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $250.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the completion date set from the Notice to Proceed. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
