Furnish, deliver and install data network and network wire/cabling system throughout the Wellness Center campus and buildings.Furnish, deliver, and install a paging communications system throughout the Wellness Center campus.Install a Lenel Access Control System throughout the Wellness Center campus and buildings.Furnish, deliver and install a complete Intrusion Alarm System throughout the Wellness Center campus and buildings.Furnish, deliver and install a complete and operational video surveillance system throughout the Wellness Center campus and buildings. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by: (a) cash; (b) a certified or cashier s check; or (c) a bidder s bond made payable to City of Victorville in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid as bid security. Said Bid Guaranty shall be enclosed in the same envelope as the Bid Proposal and no bid shall be considered unless such Bid Guaranty is enclosed therewith. The successful Bidder will be also required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Base Bid. Any contract for the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as determined by the City using the amount of the Total Base Bid for bid comparison purposes. Such award, if made, shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days after opening of the bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. All questions, other than those asked at the pre-bid meeting and not specifically addressed within the Contract Documents, must be submitted in writing to jmendiola@victorvilleca.gov. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. However, for the bidder's convenience, the City will publicize that the engineer's estimate for the base bid falls within a range of $800,000.00 TO $1,200,000.00 The purpose of this project is to procure, deliver, and install low voltage components at the Victorville Wellness Center campus based on the specifications included in this bid package in Section C Technical Specifications to the Scope of Work. Components include: o Data network and network wire/cabling system; o Paging system; o Access control system; o Intrusion alarm system; and o Video surveillance system. The Victorville Wellness Center campus is currently under construction and will provide 170 shelter beds and a wide range of programs and supportive wraparound services to homeless individuals and families. The Wellness Center is expected to open for operations in December of 2023 and will operate as a 24/7 shelter, 365 days a year.
