(a) A Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract price. (b) A Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract price. (c) Adequate Public Liability and Workmen's Compensation Insurance. The attention of all bidders is called to the provisions of State Law governing "General Contractors" as set forth in Chapter Eight of Title Thirty Four of the 1975 code of Alabama as amended. All BIDDERS must comply with the requirement of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. The submission of the BIDDER's current State of Alabama License number will be required before his/her BID will be received or considered and shall be written on the outside of the envelope in which Bid is submitted. Attention to Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wages to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 & E.O. 11246. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Sentell Engineering, Inc, at P.O. Box 1246, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403 and to be given consideration must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
