This Contract consists of importing, placing, and compacting clean/suitable fill soil and/or moving and compacting onsite fill soil to bring the River Point Drive rights of way to rough grade. The contractor is to monitor the settling of the underlying soils by placing and surveying settlement plates through the duration of placing and compacting the soils. The contract also includes excavation and transportation of approximately 200 cubic yards of impacted historic fill to the Waste Management solid waste landfill located in Whitelaw, Wisconsin. Removal of the historic fill will require demolition and removal of a former reinforced concrete slab (approximately 72 by 13 feet and estimated to be 18-inches thick) and associated footing walls. The excavation is to be backfilled with imported suitable fill soil. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 17, 2023. A Bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty.
