Contract No. 1 General Construction; Contract No. 2 Electrical Construction and Contract No. 3 Mechanical Construction Separate bids will be required on a lump sum basis for the following multiple construction contracts: General Trades, Electrical, Mechanical. The project consists of providing and installing new mechanical equipment (interior and exterior). Mechanical Construction contract includes, but is not limited to, removal of unit ventilators, installation of a new unit ventilator, new ground mounted RTUs, roof mounted exhaust fans and gravity relief vents, installation of exterior and interior ductwork, new hot water piping, and new HVAC web-based control systems. Electrical Construction contract includes, but is not limited to, new branch circuit power for all new HVAC systems. General Construction contract includes, but is not limited to, installation of roof curbs, concrete pad, equipment screens, interior and exterior painting, structural reinforcing of roof and alternates inclusive of exterior wall demolition and curtainwall installation, and new gymnasium flooring. A satisfactory corporate surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid together with the aggregate sum of all additive alternates. The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Avon Grove Charter School. If bidder secures bonding by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or other physical bonding, such materials shall be submitted by the bid due date and time to the Avon Grove Charter School, 110 E State Road, West Grove Pa. Notice is hereby given that the project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days.
