This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites proposals from General Contractors or Builders to construct a new terminal building as the General Contractor at the Campbell River ferry terminal. The work also includes improvements to pedestrian pathways and to vehicle entrance and exit areas. The scope of work for the Project includes construction of a new terminal building and ancillary infrastructure. (the "Scope of Work"). The general requirements of the Scope of Work include: Demolition and disposal of the existing terminal building; Concrete work for the new building including pile caps, grade beams, foundations, stem walls, finished floor slabs and associated reinforcing and forming; Supply, construction and installation of all building components, including electrical, plumbing and mechanical components; Installation of all Owner-supplied materials, including mass timber and steel pipe piles; Conduit supply and installation for communications equipment; Finishing of the building; Trenching, supply, and installation of all water, sewer, and storm mains; Supply and installation of all landscaping components; and Where existing site infrastructure and landscaping is altered by construction activities, site remediation and landscaping to original conditions.
