The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including if the County determines any of the bid prices are significantly unbalanced to the potential detriment of the County, and to waive any informality, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the County. Unless canceled or rejected, a responsive bid from the lowest responsible Bidder shall be accepted as submitted except if the bid from the lowest responsible Bidder exceeds available funds, the Purchasing Agent may negotiate with the apparent low Bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. The Work under this Project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing sewer pump station, including but not limited to, demolition and replacement of the pump house, wet and dry well renovations, site work, and equipment replacement, including pumping, standby power, HVAC, controls, and electrical equipment. The Work also includes installation of approximately 77 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron gravity main, 3 manholes, and appurtenances, relocation of force main, and miscellaneous related work.
