Pursuant to an order of the Board of Trustees of the West Wendover Recreation District, County of Elko, State of Nevada, made at the regular meeting of said Board on the 10th day of August, 2023, said Board authorized the purchase and application of swimming pool plaster as follows: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, cleanup, and performance of all operations for the re-plastering of the West Wendover Recreation District swimming pool located at 1000 West Florence Way, West Wendover, Nevada. Work shall include, but not be limited to: All interior surfaces to receive new plaster shall be chipped, cut and/or sandblasted to original concrete and cleaned of projections, dust, loose particles, grease, bond breakers and foreign matter and sufficiently roughened to provide a mechanical bond up to all racing lanes, targets, inlets, stairs, eyes and drain gates. All debris removed during prep and plaster process shall be removed from the job site. Install a minimum of 3/8 inch thick white pool plaster mix to all interior pool surfaces to include all necessary bonding agents to ensure proper bonding of new plaster, and troweling of plaster to a smooth, hard, impervious finish. Plaster shall be sufficiently thick to hold water and a maintainable surface. The installer must follow or exceed all pool plasterer s minimum guidelines found within the National Plasters Council Technical Manual. Bid should include a five (5) year warranty on materials and workmanship. Re-plastering of the pool shall be completed no later than May 15, 2024. All bidders are invited and encouraged to inspect and measure the swimming pool prior to submitting bids.
