As of 10/26/23, per Owner, the Board rendered its decision to reject the bid received. The Clay County Board of County Commissioners are requesting Bids from licensed Contractors to complete site preparation, demolition, pond drainage development and the construction of six (6) pickleball courts at Green Cove Springs Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center at 415 Lemon St, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 (City of Green Cove Springs). This is a joint project between Clay County Board of Commissioners and the City of Green Cove Springs. The point of contact for this project after award will be the Clay County Facilities Program Manager for Clay County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Work includes, but is not limited to obtaining and providing all materials, labor, inspections and equipment necessary to complete the project in accordance with the construction plans and the following: Mobilization, site preparation, safety measures, erosion & sediment control, and all incidental work needed to complete the construction of the pickleball court project. Demolition of as described in the plans. Install drainage components and connect to the current infrastructure. Construct six (6) new pickleball courts and retention pond per the design specifications. Install all components to facilitate future lighting. The Contractor must abide by all documented requirements and general notes as listed in the construction plans. Question Deadline 09/12/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Substantial Completion must be accomplished by ninety (90) days from Notice to Proceed. Final Acceptance must be accomplished by one hundred and twenty (120) days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the contract.
