The City of Bisbee is seeking sealed bids and proposals to pain the exterior of three (3) buildings located at the Copper Queen Mine Tour. SPECIFICATIONS, SCOPE OF WORK OR REQUIREMENTS The primary scope of work is for Exterior Building Painting of Three (3) City-owned Buildings which includes, Copper Queen Mine Tour Building, Restroom Building and Maintenance shop building all located at 478 N Dart Rd Bisbee Arizona 85603 In bid documents please state brand and type of paint being used. Specifications: Copper Queen Mine Tour Building We will be painting the exterior, Surfaces to be painted include: o Wood Fascia and Trim o Metal siding o Metal flashings o Previously painted doors and door frames (exterior only) o Previously painted windows o Metal information Kiosk o Wires and conduits painted to match the surfaces they are attached to Prep work will consist of a thorough pressure wash of all surfaces to be painted o Wood surfaces should be scraped and sanded to remove loose and peeling paint to ensure proper adhesion. o Signs on building remove painted underneath and reinstalled o New caulking will be applied at any previously caulked areas. o Any bare wood, areas or areas where metal shows signs of rust will be spot-primed prior to painting. o Removal and replacement of signage on building Specifications: Restroom Building We will be painting the exterior, Surfaces to be painted include: o Wood Fascia and Trim o Block walls o Metal flashings o Metal roof o Previously painted doors and door frames (exterior only) o Previously painted windows o Wires and conduits painted to match the surfaces they are attached to Prep work will consist of a thorough pressure wash of all surfaces to be painted o Wood surfaces should be scraped and sanded to remove loose and peeling paint to ensure proper adhesion. o Signs on building removed painted underneath and reinstalled o New caulking will be applied at any previously caulked areas. o Any bare wood, areas, or areas where metal shows signs of rust will be spot primed prior to painting.
