It is the intent of the PWSA to establish a contract to provide Fence and Gates. This is for the Water and Wastewater Safety and Security Plan This IFB will be administered by Thoryn Simpson, Manager, Procurement. Bidder is required to submit a Bid Bond for 10% of the bid value, using the attached Bid Bond Form. The term of this Agreement shall commence upon the PWSA's issuance of a Notice to Proceed and shall continue for 547 days (18 months) from the date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (the "Term"). Time is of the essence for this Agreement. Thereafter, this Agreement shall not renew, unless agreed upon in writing between the Parties. In the event that the Parties elect to renew the Agreement, the Contract will not be extended. It is therefore the current goal of the PWSA to encourage increased MBE, WBE, SBE, VBE, DOBE, LGBTBE participation in all business pools. The PWSA's current supplier diversity goal is between ten percent (10%) and twenty-five percent (25%). The PWSA intends to monitor the progress closely, including revising the practices and procedures from time to time as conditions warrant. The Authority reserves the right to extend or postpone the date and time for accepting bids through an addendum. Questions Due Date: Nov 7th 2023, 4:00 PM EST
