The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. Purpose: Fabrication and installation of interpretive displays at Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area Interpretive Pavillion. Objective: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment, required to build, fabricate and install the interactive displays (as detailed in a design plan) in an existing building at the Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area, located Simpson, Saskatoon, P.O Box 280, S0G 4M0, Last Mountain Lake NWA (located 150km north of Regina, and 175km southeast of Saskatoon). ECCC wishes to offer a high-quality experience that facilitates learning, enjoyment, and a long-lasting relationship with nature through unique engaging interpretive displays and content. The Contractor shall build and install cabinetry, interactive stations, games, graphic panels and artistic and technological elements. The elements must be constructed of materials that will be robust enough to withstand high-touch use by the public. The content includes Indigenous knowledge and language and the Contractor must allow for review and revision with First Nations throughout construction to ensure accuracy. The deliverables will have a significant artistic component, many elements requiring paintings, murals or sculptures of wildlife, landscapes and birds. There will be a mandatory site visit as part of phase 2 of the tender process. Once the contract is awarded, ECCC and the contractor will agree on an acceptable and reasonable schedule considering lead times for delivery of construction materials, weather conditions and any other restrictions due to the location of the site.
