Vincennes University is requesting proposals for the following: Your Base Bid Proposal is to modernize one (1) existing three-stop hydraulic passenger elevator located inside the Phillip M. Summers Center, on the Vincennes campus. See project summary below. Bidder shall provide the following Alternate Bids: o Alternate Bid #1 (adder) to replace the Elevator Cab Interior as specified in the project summary below. o Alternate Bid #2 (adder) to replace the Elevator Cab Door as specified in the project summary below. o Alternate Bid #3 (adder) to replace the Hoistway Hatch Doors as specified in the project summary below. On site elevator work to start as early as May 13, 2024. All on site work, including inspections, shall be completed no later than August 2, 2024. ew Complete Landing System: The landing system shall provide state of the art feedback Bidders are required to visit & inspect existing conditions, prior to submitting bid proposal. Contact Jeremy Wild at 812-888-5309 or jwild@vinu.edu to schedule a site visit. New Complete Non-Proprietary Microprocessor Based Elevator Controller with a selective collective operation. The logic will include fireman service, and ADA circuitry. Controller shall have full on-board diagnostics for quick and easy troubleshooting, and electronics soft starter. Door Equipment Upgrade Package: Car Door Equipment Solid State heavy-duty closed-loop door operator. Gate switch assembly. Car door hanger with rollers, track, and header. Car door clutch with zone lock. New infrared door edge that will cause the doors to re-open automatically if the door becomes obstructed by a person or object. Hatch Door Equipment Hatch door hangers with rollers and tracks Door closers. Interlock assemblies with switch, keeper, roller release, linkage, and hardware. New Hoistway Switches. New Wiring: Complete with new wiring in the hoistway, cab, controller, and motor.
