The Work includes, but is not limited to the following elements and activities Obtain all necessary permits. Coordinate access to water and electrical service (if required). Verify existing site conditions and identify (and mark) the location(s) of all aboveground and underground utilities, equipment, and structures. Contact Dig Safe New York to obtain utility clearances and coordinate with applicable utility companies and the City. Remain in compliance with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to OSHA safety standards, state and local building codes, manufacturers requirements, EPA regulations, and DEC regulations. Maintain security of the site during the entire project. Mobilization of equipment and labor. Preparation, submittal, and revision (if needed) of relevant planning documents, including a full project schedule, sequence of operations, proposed hours of operation, an impacted soil management plan, a Health and Safety Plan, and a Community Air Monitoring Program. Attendance of pre-construction, daily health and safety, periodic coordination, and postconstruction meetings. Construction of pre-cast modular block retaining wall in accordance with the requirements of the specifications provided in this attachment and in acceptable conformity with the design and dimensions shown in the attached design sheets. Notify appropriate utility company and the Engineer if existing utilities, equipment, or structures are damaged during Work. Complete repairs at no additional cost and in accordance with the requirements of the utility company and satisfaction of the City. Proper removal and disposal of the soil and other debris generated during Work. This includes proper stockpiling and characterization of soil as specified in this attachment. Site restoration per the specifications provided in this attachment. No voids, or trip hazards are to be created or left at the site. Perform Work in accordance with the existing Site Management Plan included as Attachment 8. Project close out. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. The Contract Documents contain the provisions required for the construction of the Project. This exemption shall apply to: a) material permanently incorporated into the Project; b) supplies which are permanently incorporated into the Project; c) materials and furnishings which are incorporated into the Project such as desks, hairs, drapes, etc. This exemption does not apply to tools, machinery, equipment, or other property purchased by, leased by or to the Contractor or Subcontractor, or to supplies or materials not incorporated into the completed Project.
