The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) with its head office in Fort McMurray, Alberta, invites qualified and experienced respondents to provide a quote for the Chain Link Fence replacement on Baseball Diamonds in Syncrude Athletic Park (SAP), located within the Urban Service Area of Fort McMurray. The purpose of this project includes full replacement of Chain Link, Posts and Back Stop of Diamond # 7 and partial replacement of Chain Link and posts of Diamond # 10 located in SAP. Maps with highlighted areas are included within the RFQ (Attachment 1). The Diamond #7 will require a full chain link and backstop replacement, and Diamond #10 will need the replacements of existing chain link fence in specified areas affected by water pooling as identified in the map. Each ball diamond has site-specific work scope and design; the layout for Diamond #7 remains the same, while there is a change to Diamond #10 Foul Pole area which involves the removal and reinstallation of 6-gauge chain link fence. Respondents are to refer to the scope of work for a breakdown of each sites requirements. Fence cap will be provided through the RMWB Designate for installation, and the successful respondent will need to arrange for pick up from the RMWB Yard to the installation location.
