The County, is seeking Construction Manager at Risk services for preconstruction consulting, deconstruction and construction services required for a new facility and reconfigured site to house the new Southdale Library and tenant. The project is located at 7009 York Avenue South, Edina MN, 55435. Hennepin County completed Predesign phase with some preliminary site analysis, facility requirements and cost estimates. This project will replace the Southdale Regional Center with a new 100,500 gross square foot (GSF) facility comprised of 34,000 GSF underground parking, 45,000 GSF) library, 18,500 GSF tenant suite and 3,000 GSF of second floor common space, located on the north half of the existing 7.7 acre site. The project also includes comprehensive site development, including the establishment of green space, as well as the implementation of stormwater management measures. The existing library, regional center facility and parking lot in its entirety will undergo demolition and deconstruction as part of the project. Deadline for Questions 9/15/2023 - 2:00 PM
