Award details will be made available following November SAWS Board meeting. 22-1597, 00210901531 The Project consists of approximately 3,385 feet of 15 inch main and 3,000 feet of 18 inch main connecting to 5,350 feet of central 24 inch main, ultimately connecting to a lift station followed by SAWS Sewer Treatment Facility. The lift station will involve a 15-foottall lattice communication tower, a 30 to 35 foot deep wet well, precast valve vaults and an electric shelter. The purpose of our study was to explore subsurface conditions at the project site and, using the information obtained, develop recommendations to guide the design and construction of the proposed lift station and sewer line. TTL understands that shallow foundations will be used to support the communication tower (antenna foundation), precast valve vaults and electric shelters. Locations for 12 borings were initially proposed for this project. Three (3) of these locations, including B-1, B-11, and B-12, were not accessible at the time of drilling operations. The boring B-1 was inaccessible due to slope complications and borings B-11 and B-12 were inaccessible due to being located within the Southside ISD Right of Way. This report includes final recommendations for the lift station and preliminary recommendations for the sewer line. The three (3) boring locations that have not been drilled will be drilled at a later date. Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of a lift station and associated force main for the Ruby Crossing Offsite Sewer Phase 2 (Lift Station).
