**As of October 27,2023, project was postponed. Project will rebid on November 2,2023.** The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Lincoln in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract Other sets for general contractors, and sets for subcontractors and dealers, may be obtained upon non-refundable deposit of $150.00. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. This is a reroofing project to an exist approximately 13,250 sq.ft. portion of building (main upper and lower flat roof, and gabled main entrance from parking), and approximately 124 sq.ft. of flat exterior concrete canopies, and change the design into a hipped standing seam metal roof. It includes new metal framing and decking with new R-38batt insulation, overhang throughout with fiber cement vented soffit, continuous ridge vents, new metal covered fascia and trim, gutters and downspouts, EIFS cornice, etc. Also see alternate bid for not doing the hip roof, and only reroofing the existing flat roof of the main upper and lower roof, and reroofing the main entrance from parking with new screwdown metal roof to match new trim, gutter, downspout, etc.s a minor interior renovation to an existing 4,538 sq.ft., approximately, w/ new and improved layout, ceilings, restrooms, HVAC, and electrical. It also includes removal and construction of new exterior stairs and sidewalk connecting the building exit to the existing parking.
