Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required to construct approximately 725 linear feet of 8- inch & 10-inch diameter water main and appurtenances as described in the project specifications. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $240,000.00. The project is located in Silverdale, WA. The site is along Clear Creek Road between Sunde Road and NW Melody Lane. The project lies within Section 05, Township 25N, Range 1E, W.M., Kitsap County, WA. The prospective bidder shall be a licensed and bonded contractor in the State of Washington. Each bid shall be per the plans and specifications on file at SWD, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road, Silverdale, WA, 98383. Point of contact is Michael Pleasants, P.E., at (360) 447-3500. Each proposal or bid shall be completely sealed in a separate envelope, addressed to SWD Attention Morgan Johnson, General Manager, with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project plainly indicated on the outside of the envelope. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the order of the Silverdale Water District by the successful bidder, in case they fail to enter into contract, file an acceptable surety bond in the sum of 100% of the contract price, or fulfill conditions of said contract within ten days of the date of the award. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. SWD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding.
