The scope of the work includes the restoration of windows and security bars as detailed in the plans and specifications. Bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Borough and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Borough of Lansdowne. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a contract surety approved by the Borough of Lansdowne. Commonwealth requirements apply as noted in bid documents, including but not limited to Prevailing Wage and Related Acts and equal opportunity provisions. Award of the Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Borough of Lansdowne reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
