Stone Lake Trail Phase 2 & Phase 3 Improvement Project Bids will be opened and read aloud at a the regularly scheduled Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting commencing at 9:00 AM that same day in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Any bids received later than the above time will be returned unopened. Work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for trail improvements in Soldiers Memorial Park, and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The sites of construction are adjacent to Lakeshore Drive between Craven and Orchard and along Grangemouth Drive and through Soldiers Memorial Park between the Parking Lot and Waverly Road Parking Lot, all within the City of La Porte, Indiana. The Contract Documents are on file and available for public inspection or purchase at the Engineering Department of the City 0900 LEGALS and specified in the Contract Documents. The sites of construction are adjacent to Lakeshore Drive between Craven and Orchard and along Grangemouth Drive and through Soldiers Memorial Park between the Parking Lot and Waverly Road Parking Lot, all within the City of La Porte, Indiana. NOTE: Specifications and Bidding Documents obtained from any other source will deem the Bid Non-Responsive, and thus ineligible for award of a Contract. Bids must be on the Bid Form contained in the Specifications. Each bidder must also complete a Form 96 (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts); an executed non-collusion affidavit; signed copies of addenda (if issued); a completely executed Affidavit of Compliance with Indiana Immigration Law and Certification of Not Being Engaged in Investment Activities in Iran and Debarment; Affidavit of Compliance with City of La Porte Responsible and Responsive Bidder Requirements; and satisfactory bid security as set forth in the Contract Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept a full or partial award of the bid, which, in its judgment, will be to the best interests of the City of La Porte.
