Scope of Work: Remove and dispose of old equipment: 2 Aerco Benchmark 3.0 LN gas fired low NOx Boilers 27 GAL. CAP Install new high efficiency condensing boilers: Stainless steel heat exchanger Provide with a BACnet interface Provided with a limestone acid neutralizer on condensate drain. To be rated for boiler capacity and provided by boiler supplier. Capacity: input MBH @ S.L. 3000 Output MBH @ ALT. 2389 Fuel type- NT (natural gas) Connect boilers to all existing equipment Adapt piping and flue to existing system Prepare properly if a crane and street closure permits are needed. Upon completion ensure boilers are functioning properly and connected to the BAS. Purpose: History Colorado (Colorado Historical Society) is seeking to replace the boilers in the building. The History Colorado Center is a 200,000 sq. ft. 5 story building including a below grade level museum with exhibits, collections/storage, and office space. The current central hot water heating plant has a sea level input capacity of 6000 Mbh provided by (2) 3,000,000 BTUH high efficiency condensing boilers (Aerco Benchmark BMK 3.0 NOx). The boilers have individual flues that are routed up through the roof. The hot water heating system includes the following components. An air separator, expansion tank, glycol feeder, and a chemical pot feeder. Boilers are connected to a variable/primary flow series pumping system with base mounted pumps. Boilers are connected to the BAS (building automated system) Honeywell Niagara N4 control system. The objective of this Request is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to The History Colorado Center. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of our award decision. Energy efficiency/savings, indoor air quality, noise, ease of operation & maintenance, durability/reliability and overall life cycle. Location Of Project: The following project is located in the mechanical room (penthouse). There is freight elevator access to the 4th floor and then two flights of stairs to the mechanical room. Boilers are enclosed in a boiler room. The original hard copy in all cases is the official record and shall be used to resolve any differences. All electronic copies shall be provided in Adobe PDF. Respondents are required to submit: o One (1) original hard copy o One (1) electronic copy (USB) PDF Format Awarded vendor will send invoices to the attention of Accounts Payable, History Colorado Center. HC payment terms are net 45 days.
