Question Deadline 10/20/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Scope of work to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of installing a sanitary sewer extension from an existing 27" sewer located on the west side of Woodsdale Road south of Kennel Road into the Trenton Industrial Park. The project consists of installation of 4,982 feet of 10" and 12" diameter pipe. Approximately 1,300 feet of the 12" pipe is between 25 and 35 feet deep. The Engineer's opinion of construction cost is $1,214,655. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) . Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Trenton as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The City of Trenton reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. The City of Trenton also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty (60) days.
