Completed bids are requested by the above time. Public opening of bids will follow. If you do not want to attend public opening, bid results will be emailed out later in the day. Bid selection at the next City Council meeting following the due date. Public Notes: The project consists of curbs and flatwork as follows: 1. Provide all labor and materials to construct the curbs and flatwork as shown on attached drawing. 2. Contractor will use AB3 if needed for base. 3. Curbs shall be stand-up type "B" and have 3 #4 rebar's. 4. Sidewalks shall have 3 #4 rebar lengthwise with crossbars. Rebar shall be on chairs. Sidewalks shall be 4" thick. A 5-foot-wide sidewalk shall be provided. 5. All concrete shall be KCMMB Granite 4000 or 5000 psi mix. Concrete mix shall be submitted and approved before pouring. 6. ADA is required at all city street crossings 7. Removal of old sidewalk will be done by Contractor 8. Old culverts will be removed by Contractor 9. New culverts will be provided by Contractor (nothing less than 12") 10. Grading will be done by Contractor 11. Dirt, seed and erosion control will be done by Contractor 12. Performance Bond for duration of the project and then a Two-year Maintenance Bond from date of completion. If project meets requirements, a statutory public works bond will also be required for this project. 13. Contractor will put outdoor hangers no less than 2 days before the work is scheduled to start.
