ELECTRONIC BIDS for the construction of the Lafourche Parish Recreation Facility Hurricane Ida Lighting System Repair/Replacement, Golden Meadow, LA & Larose, LA consisting of the following: Demolition of existing damaged light poles and associated lighting components as indicated in the Construction Documents. Installation of new lighting systems and associated components. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of COMMERCIAL / ELECTRICAL. The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Lafourche Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
