I. Authority. Qualified firms are invited to submit a Proposal for the completion of Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) services for the new Amplify Hancock County Career Center project pursuant to the provisions of Ind. Code 5-32 et seq. (the "Act"). This project involves the design and construction of a new shared Career and 9-12 CTE Center which will include Ivy Tech, 9-12 School Districts of Hancock County, Hancock Health and shared public space to be located in Hancock County Indiana. A summary of the project, services requested, submission requirements and selection process are located on the Hancock County website. II. Request for Proposals. The Hancock County Board of Commissioners are hereby advertising this RFP and posting the same outside the Commissioners Courtroom in the Hancock County Annex and also on Hancock County's website, and pursuant to I.C. 5-3-1, et seq. and I.C. 5-22-7-5. Notice of the invitation for offers to purchase is being done as required by I.C. 5-3-1, et seq. and also through the computer gateway technology. This notice is being published two (2) times, twice one week apart and more than seven (7) days prior to receipt of the bids by the Hancock County Board of Commissioners (I.C. 5-3-1-2(e)). The award of the contract related to this RFP is not based solely on low bid. A CMc will be selected based upon the Constructor's experience and expertise with similar projects, the ability to best fulfill the Owner's needs and to provide value added services, the ability to complete the project in a timely manner, and the completeness of their submittal.
