The Corporation of the City of London is seeking qualified Proponents for the supply and delivery of the wastewater flow equalization Storage Tank for the Adelaide WWTP. The Adelaide Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a conventional activated sludge plant which has a current ECA rated capacity of 36,400 m3/d. The City is currently completing the detailed design of flood protection measures and peak flow storage upgrades at the plant to allow for full treatment of wastewater flows during periods in which the Thames River's water elevation rises above the hydraulic discharge elevation of the treatment system. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit a storage tank selection which will enable the design consultant (CIMA+ Canada Inc.) to complete detailed drawings and specifications for the upcoming construction project. The Successful Proponent will be required to design, supply, install and provide a certification of proper installation for one (1) bolted Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) raw sewage storage tank. Refer to the specifications (Appendix B) of the proposed equalization storage tank attached to this RFP. The equipment shall include an aluminum geodesic dome, tank vent/vacuum relief unit, roof access hatch, access ports, overflow pipe and supports, outside tank access stairs, roof platform walkway, identification plate, cathodic protection, roof mounted rescue davit base and all other appurtenances.
