The Project consists of constructing Approximately 1,400 L.F. of Water and Sewer Line from Howard Clemons Rd. to a future hangar development area on the west side of the airport. Water line, sanitary sewer line, pavement removal and replacement. Estimate: $600-$800 Thousand A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. supplying labor or materials to the Project. Each bond required by the bid documents or state statute shall set forth a penal sum in an amount not less than the full Contract Price. If the Contract Price exceeds the sum of $25,000.00, the Contractor, upon execution of the Contract and prior to commencement of the Work, shall furnish to the City a two-year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) . The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. $600-$800 Thousand Please submit questions for this Project 72 hours prior to bid opening through website in the Q & A portal. The number of days within which, or the dates by which, the Work is to be substantially completed and ready for final payment are set forth in the Agreement.
