Repair two tree damaged buildings, bathroom and concession stand located at the Willits Rodeo Grounds. Remove and dispose of all damaged material including roofing, framing, plumbing and electrical. Repair damaged interior and exterior walls. Install new roof and truss systems to both buildings. Install new interior finishes including FRP, epoxy floor and paint. Remove and replace all noted plumbing fixtures, including toilets, urinals, sinks, hand dryers, garbage cans, soap dispensers, including all required plumbing. Install new 200-amp service at the concession stand. In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 20170, all bids must be presented under sealed cover and include one of the following forms of bidders security: cash, cashiers check made payable to the City, certified check made payable to the City, or a bidders bond. The amount of bidders security provided must equal at least ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid price for the base bid and any additive or deductive items listed in this notice. The successful bidder must then submit to the City complete, executed contract documents & the required insurance documents, without modification, within fourteen (14) calendar days after receiving the written Notice of Award, from the City Manager, of the City of Willits, of the award of the project. Bidders Security of any successful bidder that fails to do so will be forfeited to the City. Such required documents include, but are not limited to, a payment or labor and materials bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount payable by the terms of the project contract and that satisfies the requirements of California Civil Code Section 3248, and a performance bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount payable by the terms of the contract. All project bonds must be executed by an admitted surety insurer in accordance with applicable law and acceptable to the City Any other questions must be submitted in writing by Monday, August 28, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
